SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana baseball team saw three of its team members in D2CCA All-Central Region honors. The Conference Commissioners Association made the announcement Wednesday afternoon with Seth Miller on the first team while Drey Dirksen and Adam Diedrich earned second team honors.
 
Miller, a senior from Blaine, Minnesota, was a First Team All-NSIC honoree and leads Augustana with 10 wins on the pitching mound. He owns a 3.06 ERA while tossing 85.1 innings with 86 strikeouts. This past weekend at the Central Region pod, Miller earned the win for the Vikings in game one, and sealed the trip to the Super Regional with a save in game three. Miller has also earned an All-Region nod from the NCBWA.
 
Dirksen is a junior from Spicer, Minnesota, has been steady all year at the plate for the Vikings with his .354 average and a team-best 60 runs scored. The catcher ranks third on the team with 74 hits, he also has recorded a team-high 59 RBI. In addition, he ranks sixth in NCAA Division II with eight sacrifice flies while sitting one home run shy of tying Augustana's single game record at 16. Dirksen has received postseason accolades from the NCBWA as an all-region student-athlete along with First team All-NSIC honors.
 
Diedrich is a sophomore from Brillion, Wisconsin, is the nation's leader in saves. He has racked up a single-season record for AU of 14 saves. In 24 appearances, he has struck out 35 batters, given up 22 hits and just 8 earned runs. He was also honored by the NSIC as a first-team athlete while garnering First Team All-Central Region honors from the NCBWA.
