READING, Pa. – Fifth-year forward Chase Brand signed the dotted line with the Reading Royals of the ECHL, announced by the team Wednesday afternoon. 

Chase, a native of Park Rapids, Minnesota, played in 30 games this season and tallied five goals and seven assists for 12 points. Brand had a multi-goal effort in Augustana's win over then-No. 16 Arizona State in the Vikings' first-ever ranked win in program history. 

The Reading Royals, are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers and the American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Royals play in the Eastern Conference and hold a record of 25-29-5-2.
