SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The No. 8 Augustana wrestling squad is set to head to Minneapolis to face No. 3 Augsburg (DIII) on Friday at 7 p.m. before continuing to Mankato to take on Minnesota State at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Vikings
Augustana returns to action for the first time since Jan. 24 and 25, when the Vikings scored two home victories during Alumni Weekend festivities. AU handily defeated #11 UMary, 28-13, on Friday and Minot State, 36-6, on Saturday inside the Elmen Center in front of back-to-back electric crowds.
 
Five Vikings maintained individual rankings in the latest NWCA release. Jaxson Rohman sits third in the 125-pound weight class while Cael Larson is second at 149 pounds. Connor Simmonds has climbed the rankings and is sixth at 157 while at 184, Cade Mueller is ranked 13^th and Max Ramberg is fourth at 197.
 
The 2024-25 roster of 36 is made up of 10 freshmen, eight redshirt freshmen, six redshirt sophomores, one junior, eight redshirt juniors and three seniors. Of the 36, six return after wrestling in the Super Regional last season.
