SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Augustana wrestling landed six Vikings on the All-NSIC teams, announced Wednesday morning by the league office.
Luke Koenen,
Payton Handevidt and
Max Ramberg earned All-NSIC First Team honors while
Nolan Ambrose,
Coy Gunderson and
Charlie Petit were named to the second team.

Luke Koenen - 141 pounds - All-NSIC First Team
A redshirt freshman from Maple Grove, Minn., Koenen earns his first All-NSIC nod. He closed the regular season 23-8 overall and 11-5 in duals while recording a pin, four tech falls and seven major decisions. Koenen went 7-1 in NSIC action and his only loss came by 4-2 decision. He won his final five NSIC bouts, including a win over then-No. 4 Sean Solis of UMary.
Koenen takes a nine-bout winning streak into his first Super Region V Tournament. Â
Payton Handevidt - 165 pounds - All-NSIC First Team
A junior from Jackson, Minn., Handevidt takes home his first all-conference honor following a year of growth. After a 9-8 dual record a season ago, Handevidt took charge, finishing the regular season with a 17-5 overall record and 12-5 dual record that included a 7-2 NSIC record. He won his final four NSIC duals, including a pair of pins.
Handevidt looks to earn his first bid to the NCAA DII Tournament. He went 4-2 at the Super Region tournament last season, placing fifth.
Max Ramberg - 197 pounds - All-NSIC First Team
A senior from Baldwin, Wis., Ramberg takes home his second consecutive all-conference honor following a nationally dominant season on the mat. He went 8-0 in conference dual competition, accruing four tech falls and a pin. Ramberg holds the program record with 34 career tech falls and holds the school record for most in a single-season after recording 13 last season.
With a 12-0 overall record so far and a No. 1 ranking at 197 pounds, Ramberg looks to earn a third straight bid to the NCAA DII Tournament. He went 4-2 at the championships a season ago following a second-place finish at the Super Region V Tournament. Â
Nolan Ambrose - 149 pounds - All-NSIC Second Team
Ambrose earns the first all-conference honor of his career after bursting onto the dual scene. The redshirt freshman from Jackson, Minn., went 15-1 in dual action against DII opponents and was 8-1 against NSIC foes, including four pins and two tech falls.

He'll look to make a statement at the Super Region V Tournament as he makes his collegiate postseason debut. Â

Coy Gunderson - 174 pounds - All-NSIC Second Team
Gunderson earns the second all-conference honor of his career following another great regular season. The junior from Murdock, Minn., went 8-1 against conference opponents throughout the season, contributing towards a 19-5 season record. In NSIC action, Gunderson recorded four decisions, two major decisions and two tech falls.

He'll look to build off consecutive fifth-place finishes at the previous two Super Region V Tournaments, aiming for a spot in his first NCAA National Championships. Â
Charlie Petit - 184 pounds - All-NSIC Second Team
Petit earns the first all-conference honor of his career following a strong performance in his first season wrestling duals. The redshirt freshman from Plymouth, Minn., went 8-3 in dual action, including a 5-1 showing against conference opponents, securing two pins, a tech fall and a major decision along the way.

About The Selections
The all-conference teams were selected by the league coaches with the top point receivers at each weight class being named first team and the second being named to the second team. The coaches vote for Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Wrestler of the Year on a separate ballot following the conclusion of the national championships.Â
