Augustana women's basketball will host Upper Iowa and No. 10 Winona State in final regular season home contests this weekend

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana University women's basketball team will be at home this weekend for their final regular season home contests of the season. The Vikings will play host to Upper Iowa on Friday and No. 10 Winona State on Saturday. Tip-off against the Peacocks is scheduled for 6 p.m. while Saturday's senior day tip is scheduled for 4 p.m.

THE STARTING FIVE
 • Head Coach Dave Krauth picked up win number 550 of his career against #25 Sioux Falls Saturday at the Stewart Center 64-54. The win makes Krauth the 16th winningest coach in Division II women's basketball history
• The Vikings win over USF was the third time in three years that the two teams have split the season series and Augustana's first win at the Stewart Center since Dec. 7, 2013
Sophie Kenney had 12 points against USF but none bigger than her second quarter buzzer beater that gave the Vikings momentum going into the half
• Augustana's win over #25 USF was their first win over a top-25 team since they defeated Northern State 79-62 on 2-15-14
• Augustana has won 6 of their last 7 games including three straight. Their last three, 3 game winning streaks have been snapped going for win number 4

AUGUSTANA AT A GLANCE
• The Vikings lost their last meeting to Winona State 49-73 back on 1/22/16 but defeated Upper Iowa 84-61 on 1/23/16
• At home this season Augustana is 10-2 overall and 7-2 in NSIC Games. They have won three straight at the Arena

• Augustana is averaging 11 steals per game through 26 games this season. Their 11 steals per game ranks as the 22nd best mark in Division II. Augustana is the only member of the NSIC that ranks in the top 50
• Senior Sophie Kenney has the 5th best assist to turnover ratio in Division II with a ratio of 3.09
• Sophomore Logan O'Farrell has made a mark on defense throughout her career. She kept up the intensity this season with a 2.46 steals per game average in Division II. Her 2.46 steals per game is the 38th best mark among all Division II women's basketball this season.

Upper Iowa at a Glance
• This will be the 17th all-time meeting against the two programs with Augustana holding a 16-0 career record
• On the road this season the Peacocks are 2-8
• Upper Iowa has two athletes averaging double-figures this season in Aleesha Cleaver and Whitney Kieffer
