NEW ORLEANS -- The Augustana track & field teams had 18 members earn All-Region honors for the central region the USTFCCCA announced Friday. Both the men's and women's teams accounted for nine each. 

To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-five individuals in their events in their respective region. In addition, each member of a region's top-three relay team was selected for the distinction.

Five of the members of the all-region teams will be competing in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships taking place May 27-29 in Allendale, Michigan.
