MOORHEAD, Minn.--No. 10 Augustana wrestling defeated MSU Moorhead in an NSIC conference dual on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings saw 8 wrestlers earn victories in the dual. AU moves to 5-3 overall and remains undefeated in NSIC action, one of two undefeated teams in league action.

Freshman Jaxson Rohman started the dual with a fall in the first period. Rohman, competing at 125 pounds, is ranked at No. 4 in the nation for his weight class. The win brings Rohman to 11-1 overall this season.

Brayden Curry, wrestling at 141 pounds, won by way of a 4-2 decision. Curry's record improves to 5-4 overall this season.

Kage Lenger earned a win at 149 pounds over his MSU Moorhead opponent. Lenger used two takedowns and earned an escape point in the 6-1 decision victory. 

Hunter Burnett, competing at 157 pounds, recorded five takedowns, an escape point and a point for riding time to get the major decision victory over his opponent. 

Miles Fitzgerald put the Vikings up to 19 team points in the 165 pound match. Fitzgerald's two takedowns and escape point helped him to the victory and his overall record improves to 15-3.

At 174 pounds, Dylan Schuck bested his opponent to win by a 6-2 decision. Schuck's two takedowns and one reversal helped him to the victory.

Daniel Bishop, wrestling at 197 pounds, defeated his opponent by a 12-3 major decision. Bishop recorded two four-point nearfalls and two reversals in the match.

Steven Hajas, competing at 285 pounds, saw the last victory of the dual by way of a 6-4 decision. Hajas logged two escape points and a two-point nearfall. A penalty point brough Hajas up to six in the third period.
