NEW ORLEANS --. The Augustana men's and women's track and field teams, along with 20 of its athletes, were awarded USTFCCCA All-Academic honors the USTFCCCA recently announced. 

In order to qualify for team honors, the cumulative GPA of all student-athletes on indoor and outdoor teams must average above a 3.0. The men came in with a 3.54 GPA and were one of 108 programs honored while the women finished up with a 3.63 GPA while being one of 149 programs honored. For the men, it's their 11th team honor and the 14th for the women.

Individually, represented the Vikings on the All-Academic Team. In order to qualify for individual honors, a cumulative GPA of 3.25 was required. 459 men from 98 different institutions were honored along with 534 women from 107 different institutions.
