BURNSVILLE, Minn. – For the 2022-23 academic year, 254 Augustana student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic teams to lead the league. Augustana saw 77 student-athletes earn All-Academic honors this spring with 57 being named to the NSIC All-Academic team of excellence. 

"It has been another great year for Augustana athletics," Augustana director of athletics Josh Morton said. "Just one week after claiming the NSIC All-Sports Championship, we once again lead the conference in All-Academic honors. Our spring sport student-athletes embody Augustana's tradition of building champions in the classroom, in competition and in the community."

To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.

Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshman and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
