MINOT, N.D. - The Augustana wrestling team won its fourth dual in a row on Thursday night, out-dueling Minot State 37-8 at the Minot State Dome. 

The Vikings push to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in the NSIC, while the Beavers fall to 6-7 overall, 2-4 in the NSIC. 

Jaxson Rohman had another dominant showing to open this match, opening with a pair of takedowns and three nearfall points. After a scoreless second period, Rohman collected an escape, takedown, and riding point to shut the door on a 15-2 victory. 

At 141, it was a clinical first period from Kade Sammons that helped him come away with a victory. A takedown and 12 nearfall points in the first 2:20 of action gave him a tech fall and allowed the Vikings to regain the lead at 9-4. 

In even quicker style, Kyle Boeke won by fall in 1:16 to push the lead to 15-4 through four bouts. Connor Simmonds kept it rolling at 157, earning two takedowns, four nearfall points, a reversal, and a riding point in a diverse major decision to push the Vikings ahead 19-4. 

Tyler Wagener entered the third period with a 4-0 lead before a takedown and riding point led to a decision and a 22-4 lead for the Vikings. In another dominant showing, Coy Gunderson recorded three takedowns before a first period pin to extend the lead to 28-4. 

At 184 pounds, Cade Mueller led 7-1 into the third period before a takedown, eight nearfall points, and a riding point closed out a tech fall for the Vikings' sixth bonus point victory of the night. 

Max Ramberg closed the Augustana bout win streak at seven after a major decision at 197 pounds. Ramberg had a pair of reversals in the first two periods before a takedown and four nearfall points in the third helped close out the victory.
