SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana wrestling is heading south to Cedar Falls, Iowa, for competition at the NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Duals and will begin the weekend against Grand Valley State starting at 10 a.m. on Friday.
 
AU is one of 16 teams in the NCAA DII bracket and is also one of four NSIC teams featured in the tournament, joined by St. Cloud State, Parkside and UMary. The Vikings earned a top eight seed in the bracket and will hold the sixth seed throughout competition.

Heading into the National Duals, Augustana holds a 2-3 record overall after starting 2025 and the home slate victoriously with a 45-0 shutout over Southwest Minnesota State. The Vikings collected six tech falls, three major decisions and a decision in the win on Jan. 3.   
 
Five Vikings maintained individual rankings in the latest NWCA release. Jaxson Rohman sits second in the 125-pound weight class while Cael Larson is second at 149 pounds. Connor Simmonds has broken into the rankings and is 15^th at 157 while at 184, Cade Mueller is ranked third and Max Ramberg is fifth at 197.
 
The 2024-25 roster of 36 is made up of 10 freshmen, eight redshirt freshmen, six redshirt sophomores, one junior, eight redshirt juniors and three seniors. Of the 36, six return after wrestling in the Super Regional last season.
