SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana men's swimming & diving team begins action at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships Wednesday in Holland, Michigan. The four-day event pits the Vikings against the other seven GLIAC schools for the conference championship.
 
Prelims begin each day at 9 a.m. and finals at 4:30 p.m. Live streaming is available via FloSports for a subscription fee. Meet mobile is the only platform for live results.
 
The GLIAC doesn't announce a preseason poll. With last year's results, Augustana placed seventh and return nearly its entire roster.

David Binsfeld headlines the group, coming in with the top 1m diving score in the field. His 474.55 points at the SMSU Quad hit a qualifying mark and is nearly 50 points higher than the second best score. 

Pedro Borin, the only Viking to earn GLIAC All-Conference honors in the program's history, enters the meet with the 14th-best time in the 200 Fly in 1:51.91. The event is what he has earned all-conference accolades in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. He holds the school record in the event with a time of 1:47.79 set at the championships in 2022.

In the 200 breast, Mason Kauffeld ranks seventh with a time of 2:02.44 while slotting in ninth with a time of 55.76 in the 100 breast. Matt Pietsch has the seventh best time in the 200 back, slotting there with a time of 1:48.84
