BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana athletics garnered 86 student-athletes on the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic honors list for the winter sports season. Announced three times a year, Augustana had 105 student-athletes named to the Fall All-Academic team, bringing the 2024-25 season total to 191 Vikings.
 
"So proud of our student-athletes and add yet another season of leading the league in academic awards," Said vice president for athletics Josh Morton. "Our winter sports provided us such a thrill with two individual national champions and a national team runner-up finish.  This is a group that is living out the Augustana Athletics philosophy statement of distinction in the classroom and excellence in competition."
 
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.
 
Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
