Multiple First-Place Finishes in Red Raider Open for Augustana Track and Field

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Augustana track and field hit the road for the Red Raider Open Saturday morning as multiple Vikings captured podium finishes throughout the event. 

Lily Juhnke crossed the finish line first in the women's 100m final with a time of 11.94 after qualifying in the preliminaries with a time of 12.18. Four other Vikings joined Juhnke in the finals as Kylee Sallee placed third with a time of 12.15, Jennifer Noutsougan found herself in fourth with a time of 12.25, Olivia Amundson finished fifth with a time of 12.40 and Ella Heinitz placed seventh with a time of 12.53. 

Luke Berends finished in fifth place with a time of 10.97 in the men's 100m finals. 

Four Vikings qualified for the women's 100m hurdles finals as Baylee Van Zee crossed the finish with a second-place finish with a time of 15.01 while Kaye Paschka joined Van Zee with a third-place finish and time of 15.30.

Nyanas Kur topped the podium in the women's 200m finals with a time of 24.71. Maia Peterson claimed a second-place finish with a time of 25.69. Noutsougan finished just outside the top three with a time of 25.93. 

Noa Marteau blazed to a first-place finish in the women's 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.58. Kasey Van Zee finished in fourth with a time of 1:10.00. 

Tyson Ricker and Alex Otten found themselves with a second and third-place finish in the men's 800m. Ricker crossed the finish line with a time of 1:55.86 while Otten finished with a time of 1:56.96. On the women's side, Sydnee Serck claimed a second-place finish of 2:21.24.

Eleni Lovgren garnered a first-place finish in the women's 3000m steeple with a time of 11:15.25. Lindsey Young joined Lovgren with a time of 12:12.07, good for third place.

Bryn Greenwaldt jumped to a second-place finish with a mark of 1.68 on the women's high jump. 

Sallee landed a first-place mark of 5.57m in the women's long jump. Jayda Becker leaped to a second-place mark of 5.32.

Kaja Salemonsen scored a first-place mark of 11.88m in the women's triple jump while Lexi Olderbak and Sammi Sundby rounded out the top three. Olderbak landed a mark of 11.03m and Sundby leaped to a mark of 10.97m

Noutsougan, Kur, Heinitz and Juhnke raced to a first-place finish in the women's 4x100-meter relay with a time of 47.64.

Tyler Sellin, Matthew Schoessow, Ethan Boyens and Jed Dooyema crossed the finish with a time second-place time of 3:25.86 in the men's 4x400-meter relay.
