Augustana University Athletics

Storsteen, a highly respected surgeon, was class valedictorian and Honor Athlete at Augustana in 1942. Another three sport star, Storsteen won four letters each in football (as a running back) and track (as a sprinter, hurdler, long jumper and member of relays teams) and three awards in basketball. He was an all-conference gridder and helped the Vikings to their first North Central track championship in 1942.
