Augustana University Athletics

Josephson, a native of Minneota, MN became a football and track star at Augustana. During his college career he had a 5.2 yards-per-carry record and rushed for 1,422 yards in three years, although not used extensively at first. He set a new SD college high jump record of 6-5; was named the 1964 Honor Athlete and was selected to a second team All-American team. He went on to become a starter and All-Pro performer with the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League during a 10-year career.
